A modern trucking fleet connected by the latest technology. We run an asset-based operation, and over 80% of our fleet comprises late model Volvo power units. By choosing one truck manufacturer, we could leverage our volume purchases to set up a service contract with Volvo, North America wide. This minimizes downtime, keeps our drivers safe and ensures our customers’ freight arrives as promised.

We complement our company fleet with a hand-picked team of owner-operators. Our combined fleet resources can expand quickly to our clients’ seasonal and unanticipated surges of inactivity.

We have 24/7 access to our driving professionals through a combination of technologies, including in-cab communications from Shaw, Transplus dispatch systems and GPS tracking.

With scanning technology in every cab, we also can communicate shipment data in real-time to clients and currently use a proactive email alert system for client shipment details.

Our facilities located in Mississauga, Ontario and Olive Branch, Mississippi, are fully fenced, and security cameras monitored on a 24/7 basis.

No highway trucks over five years old and a comprehensive maintenance program CanAmex assures complete maintenance facilities for both tractors and trailers. We have a predominantly reefer equipped fleet, and all of our reefers, dry vans and flatbeds are within ten years old. It keeps necessary repairs to a minimum, and all our equipment is inspected and maintained on a scheduled basis.

Our company-owned fleet of highway tractors comprises Volvos and Freightliners and is constantly updated to maintain a safe and productive operation. Our North America broad maintenance program with Volvo keeps downtime to a minimum.

In general, enviro-friendly trucking CanAmex and our industry have taken substantial measures to decrease our carbon footprint significantly. A combination of greater awareness and advancements in technology have served to make us a “greener industry”. Organizations like SmartWay and CARB (California Air Resources Board) have served as champions for cleaner air in the trucking industry. We have qualified to participate in both programs.It comes down to common sense trucking and realizing every small step for a greener tomorrow matters.
